One Dead in Nijgadh Storm as Tree Branch Falls on Tractor

 Barah. In Nijgadh, Bara, a tree branch fell on a tractor in a storm this evening, killing one person. The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Dev Bahadur Aryal of Nijgadh Municipality-4.

The tree branch broke and fell on the tractor, registration number Na 7 Ta 5150, which was coming towards Nijgadh from Singaul during a fierce storm. Aryal was seriously injured in the incident.

He was immediately taken to the community hospital in Nijgadh, but doctors declared him dead, informed Police Inspector Jeevan Lamichhane of the Area Police Office, Nijgadh. Krishna Ghale, 32, of Suryagadhi Municipality-1, Nuwakot, currently residing in Nijgadh-5, Bagdev, who was also on the tractor, was injured in the incident.

The tractor driver, 50-year-old Buddhiman Bal of Nijgadh Municipality-4, Purano Tol, is safe, police said.
