'Elephants in the Fog' Team to be Welcomed and Honored by Government Upon Return from Cannes Film Festival

Kathmandu. The government is going to welcome and honor the team of the film 'Elephants in the Fog', which is returning home after winning the 'Jury Prize' at the famous Cannes Film Festival held in France. 

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Film Development Board are jointly going to welcome and honor the film team that achieved this historic success.

Film Development Board Chairman Dinesh DC informed by issuing a notice that the team will be welcomed at the airport on Monday morning. On the eve of the film's premiere at Cannes, Information Minister Vikram Timalsina and the Board had congratulated and wished the film team well through separate statements.

This film directed by Avinash Bikram Shah won the Jury Prize in the 'Un Certain Regard' category of the Cannes Film Festival. Prestigious international film magazines including 'Variety' have also specially praised this film.
