Youth Injured in Knife Attack in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. A youth has been attacked with a sharp weapon in Narephat, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32. Karan Kumar Sah, 18, from Karjhana Municipality-10, Siraha, residing in Narephat, was injured in the attack.

Sah has filed a complaint at Police Circle, New Baneshwor, demanding action against the attacker. The victim sustained injuries to his hand, back, neck, and head from the sharp weapon.

SP Pawan Bhattarai of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, told Ratopati that the maternal uncle attacked his nephew with a sharp weapon during a quarrel between them on Friday afternoon.

Abhishek Yadav, 18, from Dhanusha, residing in Tika Bhairav, Lalitpur, who is involved in the attack, is absconding. SP Bhattarai informed that Abhishek is the victim's own maternal uncle.

Police investigation has revealed that they had quarreled before. Police are searching for Yadav, who also runs a consultancy in Kathmandu.
