Nepali Embassy in Lisbon to Conduct Mobile Camps in Coimbra, Madeira, and Azores

Kathmandu. The Nepali Embassy in Lisbon has decided to conduct mobile camps in Coimbra, Madeira, and Azores in Portugal. The embassy stated that mobile services are being organized in three cities targeting Nepalis living far from the capital Lisbon.

According to First Secretary of the Embassy, Rambabu Nepal, the camps will be held in Coimbra's Marinha das Ondas on Jestha 9 and 10, Madeira's Funchal on Jestha 22 and 23, and Azores's Ponta Delgada on Ashadh 6 and 7.

On the occasion, services related to passport renewal and document authentication (consular services) will be provided. Similarly, the embassy team will collect applications with biometric details for electronic passports (e-passports) for those whose passports have expired, are lost, damaged, or have less than one year validity.

Additionally, consular services including passport renewal, police character certificate, family documents, and educational certificate authentication will be provided, the embassy clarified.

In this context, the Nepali Embassy in Portugal has informed about organizing camps in three cities and requested all concerned to take advantage of this opportunity.

The embassy has stated that it has previously provided services by conducting mobile camps in Faro, Madeira, Porto, and Odemira in Portugal.
