PM seeks five years to resolve problems landless squatters facing

Pathari – Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has assured that the problems landless squatters facing in the country would be addressed permanently. But the PM sought five years time for this task. 


PM Oli made the statement at a cadres' gathering organized by CPN Pathari Sanishchare Municipal Committee at Pathari Sanishchare-1 in Morang district today. PM Oli termed national cause of concern to the issues of landless squatters and added that a long lasting solution to the issue would be devised.

Oli, who is also the Chairperson of the CPN, added that to provide free education, one should work hard and meet minimum criteria. Furthermore, the PM clarified that the public could seek local government's positive intervention to resolve local issues rather than having to reach the Prime Minister. 


On the occasion, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Barsha Man Pun vowed to resolve the problems of Nepali citizens permanently. 


Likewise, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal shared that the government has planned to build a Cultural Museum spanning 108 bighha of area at Pathari Sanischare Municipality- 10. 


In his first ever visit to his hometown after he assumed his office as the Minister, Dhakal said that he was working towards seeking permanent solutions of the inundation by the Daans and Bakrahakhola in the district. 


Also speaking at the programme, Chief Minister of Province No. 1 Sher Dhan Rai shared that the agenda ahead is only development not the agitation, conflict and anarchy. During the function, Mayor of Pathari Shanishchare Dilip Kumar Rai submitted a memorandum to the PM.
