Mills Gold Cup Football Tournament 2083 to be Held in Biratnagar

Morang. Mills Gold Cup Football Trust Rani Biratnagar has decided to conduct the sixth 'Mills Gold Cup Football Tournament-2083' from Jestha 9 to 16.

It has been informed that eight 'A' category football teams from Koshi Province will compete in the tournament to be held at the Biratnagar Jute Mills playground, organized here today.

Kankaai Sporting Club Bhapa, Brotherhood Football Club Udaypur, APF Pakali, TWYC Biratnagar, Letang Football Club, Koshi Province Police Office Rani, Inaruwa Football Club Sunsari and Laligurans Sporting Club Mills Area will participate in the competition.

Trust Chairman Vishnu Dongol said that the tournament has been organized with the objective of generating interest in football among the local youth. The winning team of the competition will receive a trophy along with Rs 201,111, while the runner-up team will receive Rs 101,111 in cash prize.

Similarly, Rs 3,100 will be awarded in four category awards and Rs 2,500 will be given to the best player of each day. Tournament coordinator Amrit Gurung informed that the tournament is estimated to cost Rs 1,000,000.
