Similarly, Shekhar Magar, operator of Jyoti Magar Hotel operating in Birgunj Metropolitan City-13, was fined Rs 20,000 under Section 39 (1) (Ka) for violating Section 15 of the Act and committing an offense under Section 38 (Gha).

Urmila Mahato, operator of Chaudhary Hotel, operating in the same ward, was also fined Rs 5,000 under Section 39 (1) (Ka) for violating Section 15 of the Act and committing an offense under Section 38 (Gha), the committee stated.

During the monitoring, it was observed that some improvements were needed in Anu Devi's business operating in Birgunj-13, and general instructions were given for necessary improvements.
