Rastriya Prajatantra Party Forms Committee for General Convention Schedule

Kathmandu. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has decided to form a committee for the construction of the upcoming general convention's work schedule.

A three-member committee comprising Vice-Chairman Hemjung Gurung, General Secretary Dhawal Shamsher Rana, and Joint-General Secretary Prakash Rimal was formed in a central working committee meeting held at the party office in Dhumbaraahi on Friday.

According to Chairman Rajendra Lingden, the committee has been given the responsibility to prepare the general convention schedule to be presented in the upcoming working committee meeting. Similarly, the meeting has decided to call a full meeting of the central working committee in Kathmandu on Jestha 28 and 29 to review the upcoming general convention, the current political situation, and the recently concluded elections.

Suggestions from the review meetings of all seven provinces were presented by Secretariat General Secretary Rajendra Gurung in the meeting, and discussions were held on them, informed Lingden.

Chairman Lingden stated that RPP is now heading towards a general convention, and a decision has been made to continue the local and district conventions that were postponed due to the elections. The party has planned to expand its organization and prepare for the general convention simultaneously in the coming days.
