Bandipur to Get 97-Meter Cantilever Glass Sky Walk

Tanahun. Sky Adventure Park Limited is to construct a 97-meter long cantilever glass sky walk in Bandipur Rural Municipality-4 of Tanahun. The company has stated that the sky walk, to be constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 1.40 billion, aims to be commercially operational within the next two years.

The 97-meter long cantilever glass sky walk, based on world-class technology, will have the capacity to be used by one thousand tourists per hour at a time. Due to the use of special smart glass technology, tourists will also experience the sensation of glass cracking while walking on the sky walk.

The project includes a bungee jump operating from a depth of two hundred meters, a two hundred-meter long sop swing, an advanced zip coaster, and a fly dining facility for dining in the sky, as well as a planetarium with modern technology for students and children.

Similarly, under the integrated tourism infrastructure development plan worth approximately Rs 1.70 billion, Nepal's tallest 55-meter capsule lift, sky glass deck, metal climbing, rock climbing, view room, and the Adiyogi Park including a 140-foot tall statue of Adiyogi Shiva are being constructed.

Managing Director Post Bahadur Khadka informed that the project includes institutional investors such as Bandipur Cable Car & Tourism Limited, Tourism Investment Fund Limited, RKD Holdings Limited, Panchase Nexus Infra Limited, and approximately one thousand five hundred investors.

According to him, this project will establish Nepal as a world-class adventure tourism destination, as well as contribute significantly to the promotion of domestic and external tourism, job creation, and local economic activities.

Director Rekha Baniya expressed confidence that this project will further enliven the tourism sector of Bandipur. Director and former chairman of Bandipur Rural Municipality Purnasingh Thapa said that this project will give a new identity to Bandipur in the international arena.
