Parliamentary Committee Forms Seven-Member Subcommittee for Study

Kathmandu. The Agriculture, Cooperatives and Natural Resources Committee under the House of Representatives has formed a seven-member subcommittee for the study and preparation of reports in various thematic areas.

The meeting chaired by Committee Chairman Ashok Chaudhary formed the subcommittee keeping in mind the provincial representation and thematic specificity.

During the formation of the subcommittee, Chairman Chaudhary clarified that the members were selected not just for representation but to study the relevant subject and prepare a concrete report. The newly formed subcommittee includes Dr. Sujata Tamang, Khagendra Karna, Gyanendra Mahat, Ganga Laxmi Awal, Chandeshwar Mandal, Tahir Ali Bar, and Prem Bahadur Bayak as members.

The committee aims to form additional subcommittees as needed for areas such as agriculture and forests in the coming days. With the formation of the subcommittee, the committee meeting has been adjourned and will reconvene on May 1st at 11 AM. This subcommittee will submit a report to the committee after conducting a detailed study of the subjects within its scope.
