Six Dead in Separate Road Accidents Across Nepal

Kathmandu. Six people have died in separate road accidents in different parts of the country. 

From children to the elderly lost their lives in these accidents in Kapilvastu, Gorkha, Sarlahi, Tanahun, and Baglung.

In Kapilvastu's Banganga Municipality-8 Chapparagaun, a motorcycle was hit by a Hiace numbered Lu. Pra. 01-001 Ja 0013 on Tuesday night, resulting in one death. The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Rabin Gurung Dhami from Bajhang, the motorcycle rider. Another person injured in the accident is undergoing treatment at Community Hospital Kapilvastu. Police have taken the Hiace driver under control.

Two separate accidents in Gorkha have claimed two lives. In Bhimsen Thapa Rural Municipality-2 Ratamate, a tractor numbered Na. 6 Ta 6059 went out of control and met with an accident, killing 13-year-old Bikram Basnet. He died on Wednesday morning during treatment after being injured on Tuesday. 

Similarly, in Gorkha Municipality-13 Tinkilo, a motorcycle numbered Ba. 99 Pa 559 hit an unidentified man approximately 50 years old, leading to his death. He died on Tuesday night during treatment at Bharatpur Hospital.

In Sarlahi's Ramnagar Rural Municipality-5 Baijnath Chowk, a motorcycle numbered Ja. 7 Pa 2613 went out of control and met with an accident, killing Indian citizen 35-year-old Gaurab Patel. Another person injured in the accident is undergoing treatment in Sitamarhi, India.

Meanwhile, in Tanahun's Aabukhairani Rural Municipality-2 Aiklephat, a minibus hit a pedestrian, resulting in their death. 70-year-old Birkh Bahadur Chumi died on the spot when the minibus numbered Pra. 3-01-001 Pa 1609 hit him. Police have taken the minibus driver under control.

In Baglung's Dhorpatan Municipality-5 Lamdanda, a tractor numbered Dha. 1 Ta 577 went out of control and fell onto a cowshed, killing 16-year-old Sushil Kumar BK. Sushil, injured in the accident that occurred on Tuesday, died on Wednesday morning during treatment at Burtibang Hospital. Police are searching for the absconding tractor driver. 

Police have launched further investigation into all the accidents.
