Congress Whip Nischal Rai Objects to RSP Deputy Leader Ganesh Parajuli's Remarks on Judges

Kathmandu. Nepali Congress Chief Whip Nischal Rai has objected to the expression of RSP Parliamentary Party Deputy Leader Ganesh Parajuli regarding judges. In the emergency time of the House of Representatives meeting on Wednesday, Congress Chief Whip Rai objected, stating that the comment made on judges, showing the arrogance of a two-thirds majority, was not only unpolitical but also unconstitutional.

Although the constitution mentions that judges cannot be debated in the house except in cases of impeachment, the RSP MP commented on the judges by dragging the house, he said. He emphasized that the Speaker should also pay attention to this matter. Rai demanded that the Prime Minister be called to the assembly by ruling him, stating that the Prime Minister himself should respond to the government's policy and program.

After Congress Chief Whip Rai expressed his views, RSP leader Parajuli stood up and protested. However, the Speaker urged him to sit down, stating that the views expressed on Tuesday were yet to be reviewed.
