Bagmati Province Presidential Running Shield Competition Postponed

Hetauda. The Bagmati Province-level Presidential Running Shield competition has been postponed. The provincial-level Presidential Running Shield competition, which was scheduled to be organized by the Bagmati Province Sports Development Council, has been postponed.

According to the council's predetermined program, it was scheduled to be held from Jestha 1 to 3. The council stated that the competition has been postponed due to the students' examinations. According to Deepak Lama, Member Secretary of the Council, preparations are being made to conduct the competition from Jestha 13 to 15.

He stated that the date has been changed because it would be difficult to conduct the competition on the original date due to the annual examinations of the participating students. He urged all players, coaches, and officials coming from district selections to participate on the newly set date and to be prepared accordingly.

He stated that the competition will be held in Makwanpur and Kathmandu. He has also instructed the sports development committees of all 13 districts to send the details of the participating players, coaches, and officials to the council as soon as possible.
