Motorcycle-Tipper Collision Kills One, Injures Another in Nawalpur

Nawalpur. One person has died and one has been injured in Nawalparasi (Bardghat Susta East) Nawalpur when a tipper hit a motorcycle.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Anil Pandit of the District Police Office, Nawalpur, the accident occurred this afternoon on the East-West Highway in Thumsi, Gairaganga Municipality-9, where a tipper (Na 7 Kha 8621) hit a motorcycle (Lu 41 Pa 9237) going in the same direction, resulting in the death of Jamuda Giri Thapa, 35, of Devchuli Municipality-10, who was riding the motorcycle.

He stated that Giri died during treatment at New Medical College, Bharatpur, after being seriously injured in the accident. The motorcycle driver, Rajbahadur Thapa, 40, husband of the deceased Jamuna Giri Thapa, was injured in the accident. He is undergoing treatment in Bharatpur. Deputy Superintendent of Police Pandit said that the colliding vehicle and the driver are in police custody.
