Ramprasadrai Rural Municipality Issues 21-Point 'Education White Paper-2083' to Improve Quality

Bhojpur. Ramprasadrai Rural Municipality has issued a 21-point 'Education White Paper-2083' with the objective of improving the educational quality of community schools. The white paper has been made public with the long-term goal of strengthening the educational status of schools within the rural municipality and producing skilled, competent, and competitive human resources.

The rural municipality has stated that this initiative has been taken with the aim of addressing various problems seen in the education sector, such as declining student attendance, deterioration in results, lack of skilled manpower, and lack of infrastructure.

Through the white paper, priority has been given to school management, teacher capacity building, improvement of student learning outcomes, development of technology-friendly education system, and increase in parental participation.

The rural municipality has announced that it will provide one laptop each to one male and one female student who achieve excellent results in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) and one outstanding teacher at the secondary level. The rural municipality states that this will develop a competitive spirit among students and make teachers more responsible and motivated.

Ten outstanding teachers from among the 34 community schools operating within the rural municipality will be honored with Rs 10,000 in cash each. Arrangements have also been made to honor one male and one female student who score excellent marks in class 8 with Rs 10,000 each. It is believed that such incentive programs will give more energy to both students and teachers to perform well.

The white paper includes points such as regular monitoring and evaluation of schools, strict enforcement of teacher attendance, ensuring availability of educational materials, improving the management of libraries and laboratories, expanding the use of information technology, and promoting extracurricular activities.

Furthermore, strengthening the collaboration between schools, parents, and the community has also been prioritized. Rural Municipality Chairman Thambadur Rai said that the rural municipality has issued an education white paper to enhance the educational quality of community schools within the rural municipality.

Chairman Rai said that since education is the first basis of development, the rural municipality has focused on improving education for the development of the country.

"Education is the first basis of development," said Chairman Rai, "Only by improving the quality of the education sector can overall development be accelerated. Therefore, through the 21-point white paper, we have put forward concrete plans. Everyone's support is necessary for its effective implementation."

The white paper issued by the rural municipality presents a clear roadmap for educational reform at the local level. Local experts say that if implemented effectively, there will be an improvement in the quality of community schools and a positive change in student learning outcomes.
