Government Recommends Convening Federal Parliament Session on May 11

The government has recommended convening the Federal Parliament session on April 28.

The Council of Ministers meeting held at Singh Durbar on Tuesday decided to recommend to President Ramchandra Paudel to convene the session on April 28 at 2 PM, informed government spokesperson and Education Minister Sasmita Pokharel.

Previously, after the Council of Ministers decided to recommend convening the Federal Parliament session, President Ramchandra Paudel had called the session of both houses of the Federal Parliament on April 17, Thursday at 2 PM at the Federal Parliament Building, Singh Durbar.

However, the session called in accordance with Article 93 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal was postponed after the government sent a letter to postpone it on April 10.
