President Issues 8 Ordinances Recommended by Balen Shah Government

Kathmandu. The President has issued all 8 ordinances recommended by the government led by Balen Shah. President Ramchandra Paudel also issued the ordinance related to the Constitutional Council on Tuesday.

Earlier, although President Paudel had sent back the ordinance related to the Constitutional Council (Powers, Duties, Rights and Procedures) (First Amendment) Ordinance, 2083 for reconsideration, the Council of Ministers meeting held on Monday sent back the same ordinance as is, and finally the President issued it on Tuesday.

The press release issued by the Office of the President mentions that the ordinance was issued on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers in accordance with Article 114 (1) of the Constitution of Nepal.

Similarly, on April 20, the President issued an ordinance to amend some Nepal laws. Similarly, on April 19, the President issued ordinances to amend some Nepal laws related to health science institutes, an ordinance on special arrangements for the dismissal of public officials, and an ordinance to amend some Nepal laws related to universities.

Similarly, on April 18, the President issued the Prevention of Money Laundering (Third Amendment) Ordinance and on April 17, the Public Procurement (Second Amendment) Ordinance. Similarly, on April 17, the President also issued the Cooperatives (First Amendment) Ordinance.

The Council of Ministers had recommended the ordinances in a meeting held on the 14th.
