Nepal Sets Target of 290 Runs Against UAE in Cricket World Cup League 2

Kathmandu. In the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2, Nepal has presented a target of 290 runs for victory against UAE. In the ongoing match at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Nepal, batting first, made 290 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 50 overs.

Dipendra Singh Airee hit a spectacular century for the team. He scored 100 runs hitting 13 fours and 1 six in 94 balls.  

Similarly, Binod Bhandari also played a half-century innings. He scored 56 runs hitting 7 fours in 79 balls.  Captain Rohit Paudel scored 39 runs in 48 balls. Arif Sheikh and Arjun Kumal contributed 11-11 runs each.

Gulshan Jha added 44 runs in 38 balls, taking Nepal towards a huge total. He hit 4 fours and 2 sixes in the process.

For UAE, Ajay Kumar and Junaid Siddiqui took 2-2 wickets each. Haider Ali and Khujaima Tanveer took 1-1 wicket each.

Nepal had defeated UAE by 37 runs in the first match, and lost to Oman by 102 runs in the second match.
