Russia-Ukraine Conflict Intensifies with Attacks on Odesa and Zaporizhzhia

Moscow. The war between Russia and Ukraine has intensified again. According to Ukrainian officials, at least 11 people, including two children, were injured in a Russian drone attack in the southern port city of Odesa.

According to the governor of the Odesa region, Oleh Kiper, attacks occurred in three districts. The attacks damaged structures such as residential buildings, vehicles, hotels, warehouses, and the funicular railway. Many building windows were shattered, and the port area was also affected.

Meanwhile, in the southeastern Zaporizhzhia region, a 59-year-old man died in a Russian attack, said Governor Ivan Fedorov. According to him, 629 attacks were carried out in 45 locations in a single day, causing extensive damage to homes and infrastructure.

The Russian side, however, claimed that a Ukrainian drone attack occurred at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. It was reported that one worker at the plant died. This nuclear plant is currently under Russian control. However, it is not operational.

On the other hand, Russian officials stated that a Ukrainian drone attack occurred in the Belgorod region, where one person died and four women were injured, according to information provided.
