CPN Proposes December Convention

Kathmandu. The general convention of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) has been proposed for next November.

A schedule to hold the general convention from November 11 to 15 was proposed at a meeting of the Central Coordination Committee held on Monday.

A leader informed that organizational adjustments of the federal, provincial, local, ward, and people's organizations will be completed by the end of May, labor camps will be operated from June-July, and membership renewal and expansion work will be carried out. According to the leader, ward conventions will be completed by September 15, and local conventions will be completed from September 16 to the end of the month.

District conventions will be completed by the end of October, and provincial conventions will be completed by November 15. Provisions related to documents and representatives will be decided by the working committee. The leader further informed that a procedure will be sent for this purpose.
