Title track of film 'Roll No 1' released, highlighting pressures of the education system

Kathmandu. The title track of the film 'Roll No 1' has been released. Produced under the banner of Seven Seas Cinema, the song features lyrics, music, and vocals by Prashant Shivakoti.

The released song focuses on the Nepali education system and the pressure children face in the race for 'ranking' at the school level. It depicts the story of a child from a rural area. The lyrics launch a sharp critique of the social mindset that honors only the student who ranks first, labeling everyone else as 'fools'.

The song attempts to analyze child psychology. With the slogan 'Every student's story', the film produced by Binod Paudel is set to release in theaters across Nepal on Jestha 15 (Republic Day).

Directed by John Yonjan, the film features Mukun Bhusal, Sushank Mainali, Renu Yogi, and Sirjana Adhikari in lead roles. The child actors in the film include Nirbhik Regmi, Rinchen Lama, Sanyam Katuwal, and Sijal Shrestha.

The film is produced by Binod Paudel and Janvi Paudel, with Chatramaya Giri and Ramesh Chaulagain as co-producers.

The film is written by Mahesh Dawadi. Shot in various scenic and rural areas of the Himalayan district of Myagdi, the film's DOP is Shiva Ram Shrestha.

The film features music by Prashant Shivakoti, background music by Rohit Shakya, Chief AD Firod Khadka, Production Designer Kala Sangraula, and Production Head Manoj Joshi. The film's editor is Madan Ghimire.

According to producer Paudel, the film will be released simultaneously in Nepal and abroad. Rich Entertainment and JM Cinema have taken responsibility for the film's distribution.
