Police arrest Nirajan Paudel, known as 'Nire', on charges of criminal activities

Kathmandu. Police have arrested Nirajan Paudel, known as 'Nire', on charges of involvement in criminal activities and are currently conducting an investigation. SP Pawan Bhattarai of the District Police Range, Kathmandu, informed RatoPati that Paudel, a resident of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-3, Basundhara, was arrested on Baishakh 3. Bhattarai stated, 'An investigation into Paudel is underway.'

Paudel, who has recently been involved in contracting work, is accused of being part of the Milan Chakre group and engaging in criminal activities. Previously, six cases related to arms possession, attempted murder, and indecent behavior had been registered against him. He has now been arrested in connection with a seventh case.
