Newly Elected Public Accounts Committee Chair Khadka Pledges Efficient Public Service Delivery

Kathmandu. Newly elected Public Accounts Committee Chairman Bharat Bahadur Khadka has stated that he will facilitate the provision of public services to the people in an accessible manner. After being elected unopposed as the committee chair, Khadka told journalists that he would play a role in facilitating public service delivery. 

'There is no longer any excuse for those who do not work. There is no excuse for those who sit idle under various pretexts. The tradition will now be broken. It should not be about whether the Public Accounts Committee, the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, or the National Vigilance Centre will catch them,' said Khadka. 'One must work on time within the scope of existing laws and acts. The public must receive services.'

He emphasized that public services must now be managed properly by considering awareness and the current environment.
