England and Argentina Tied 0-0 at Halftime in FIFA World Cup Semifinal

Kathmandu. The first half of the much-anticipated match between England and Argentina in the second semifinal of the FIFA World Cup has ended.

The first half of this historic rivalry, which started on Thursday morning according to Nepali time, ended with no goals from either team. Although both teams adopted aggressive strategies against each other from the start of the game, the first half ended in a goalless draw.

In the tense and competitive first half, one player from each team received a yellow card. In the 37th minute of the game, England's midfielder Elliot Anderson received a yellow card for a bad tackle, and immediately in the 42nd minute, Argentina's defender Lisandro Martinez also received a yellow card from the referee. After the scheduled 45 minutes of the first half ended, the referee provided an additional 3 minutes of extra (injury) time, during which neither team could open their goal account.

The team that wins this match will face Spain in the final competition to be held next Sunday at the New York-New Jersey Stadium.
