Gang arrested in Dang for selling stolen motorcycles using forged government seals

Butwal. A gang involved in selling stolen motorcycles by forging government seals and signatures has been apprehended in the Tulsipur area of Dang. Police have arrested three individuals from Tulsipur.

A police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Tulsipur, took them into custody from Tharmare Bhandari Hotel located in Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City-5, Machhapuchhre Tole.

The District Police Office, Dang, identified the arrested individuals as 20-year-old Deepak Bhandari, 19-year-old Saroj Gharti Magar, and 19-year-old Rajan Bista, all residents of Bagchaur Municipality-2, Salyan.

Acting on a tip-off regarding the sale of stolen motorcycles using forged government seals and signatures, the police conducted a raid. During the search, police seized fake seals and various vehicle registration books, leading to their detention, according to the District Police Office, Dang.

The seized items include one vehicle registration book for motorcycle BAPR 029046 PA 3332, one digital seal labeled Transport Management Service Office, Birendranagar, Surkhet, one vehicle registration book for RA 2 PA 3115, and one blue Yamaha motorcycle with registration Bagmati Province 029045 PA 1730.

DSP Resham Bohara, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Dang, stated that the three arrested individuals have been remanded for five days by the Dang District Court, and further investigation into the forgery case is underway.
