Prime Minister's Office Directs Ministries to Submit Detailed Vehicle Inventory

Biratnagar. The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has directed all ministries at Singha Durbar to provide a detailed inventory of vehicles under their jurisdiction.

The office issued a circular today requesting details of all two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles currently in use or undergoing maintenance across ministries, departments, and subordinate offices.

This request follows a secretary-level decision. According to the letter, all ministries must submit the required details in the specified format by office hours on 2083 Baishakh 3.

The Prime Minister's Office has requested information including the vehicle brand and model, registration number, gear system, fuel type (diesel-petrol-electric), user name and designation, and current status (operational or under maintenance) to ensure transparent management of government vehicles. 

It is understood that this data is being collected to monitor the scientific management of vehicles within Singha Durbar and to ensure the proper utilization of government resources. The letter, signed by Section Officer Ananda Ram Shrestha, requests all ministries to cooperate in this endeavor.
