Gandaki Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey Reshuffles Cabinet

Pokhara. Gandaki Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey has reshuffled his cabinet. He has removed all previous ministers and appointed a new team.

Eight ministers have been appointed, with four from the Nepali Congress and four from the CPN (UML). They were sworn in by Province Head Dilli Raj Bhatta on Wednesday. The cabinet reshuffle was conducted in accordance with Article 168, Sub-section (9) of the Constitution. The portfolios of the newly appointed ministers have also been reassigned. Govinda Bahadur Nepali has been appointed as the Minister of Physical Infrastructure Development and Transport Management.

Nanda Prasad Neupane has been appointed as the Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Drinking Water, while Jit Bahadur Sherchan serves as the Minister of Economic Affairs. Bhim Bahadur Karki is the Minister of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives, Yashoda Rimal is the Minister of Industry and Tourism, Rekha Gurung is the Minister of Social Development, Youth and Sports, Laxman Bahadur Pandey is the Minister of Health, and Namdu Gurung is the Minister of Forest and Environment.

Govinda, Bhim, Yashoda, and Laxman represent the CPN (UML), while Nanda, Jit, Rekha, and Namdu represent the Nepali Congress.
