Chandi without telecommunications service for past one week

Jajarkot, June 25: The telecommunications service in the Chandi rural municipality has remained obstructed for the last one week. 

Local resident Resham Bahadur Khadka shared that the phone service was severed after a breakdown in the telecommunications tower in Majkot. The villagers have been enraged at the apathy shown by the concerned authorities to immediately repair such emergency service. 

They have been forced to walk for hours uphill to a different destination where phone service remains intact. Nepal Telecom Jajarkot has stated that the phone service was disrupted due to problems in the battery.
