Nepali Congress Launches 'Jara' Campaign to Update Active Membership

Kathmandu. The Nepali Congress has initiated a campaign to update its active membership. Party General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa inaugurated the campaign on Tuesday by updating his own membership in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-30. 

The Congress has branded this initiative, aimed at updating active memberships and reorganizing the party, as the 'Jara' (Root) campaign. 

General Secretary Thapa stated that the 'Jara' campaign, launched with the objective of making the organization systematic, robust, and updated, will continue until the end of Baisakh. 

Under this campaign, active members across the country have been urged to renew and update their memberships on time. 

A mandatory provision has been implemented requiring members to visit their respective wards in person to update their party membership.
