Thamel hosts vibrant street festival to welcome New Year 2083

Kathmandu. A 'Street Festival' is underway in the Thamel area of Kathmandu on the eve of the New Year 2083.

The Thamel area has become festive with musical performances, street food stalls, cultural processions, and a large turnout of tourists. 

As the crowd of domestic and foreign tourists continues to grow, the festivities are expected to continue late into the night. Organizers stated that this festival, held to welcome the New Year, will have a positive impact on the promotion of tourism in Kathmandu.
