National Assembly Nominates Members to Joint Parliamentary Committees

Kathmandu. Members have been nominated from the National Assembly to two joint parliamentary investigation committees of the Federal Parliament. 

The Federal Parliament Secretariat, National Assembly, issued a statement on Monday announcing the nomination of three lawmakers each to the two joint committees: the Parliamentary Hearing Committee and the Committee on Monitoring and Evaluation of the Implementation of Directive Principles, Policies, and Obligations of the State. 

The statement, signed by Deputy Secretary Ananta Prasad Koirala, mentions that Ananda Prasad Dhungana, Nar Bahadur Bista, and Prem Prasad Dangal have been nominated to the Parliamentary Hearing Committee, while Kiran Babu Shrestha, Madan Kumari Shah (Garima), and Dr. Anjan Shakya have been nominated to the Committee on Monitoring and Evaluation of the Implementation of Directive Principles, Policies, and Obligations of the State.
