Motorcyclist killed in tipper collision in Udayapur

Udayapur. A motorcyclist died on Monday morning after being struck by a tipper truck along the Madan Bhandari Highway in Rajabas, Triyuga Municipality-9, Udayapur.

According to police, the motorcycle (Sa 10 Pa 4717) traveling from Jhilketol toward Rajabas was hit by an oncoming tipper (Ba 5 Kha 617) at approximately 9:30 AM. The victim, 35-year-old Hari Danuwar, a resident of Danda Tol, Triyuga Municipality-9, sustained critical injuries in the accident.

Danuwar was rushed to the District Hospital in Udayapur, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival at 9:50 AM.

Following the incident, a team led by Police Inspector Bipesh Kumar Dev from the District Police Office, Udayapur, arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation and initiate legal proceedings. Police have taken the tipper driver, 28-year-old Ashish Majhi of Triyuga Municipality-7, and both vehicles into custody for further investigation.
