Nepal Government to Implement New Procedures to Streamline Healthcare Services

Kathmandu. The government is set to prepare and implement new procedures as soon as possible to make health services organized and sustainable.

The Ministry of Health and Population is moving forward with the objective of making service delivery organized, balanced, and sustainable by preparing and implementing the necessary procedures at the earliest.

In a press release issued on Sunday, the Ministry requested all concerned to arrange for the delivery of health services as much as possible based on the available manpower and workload in their respective hospitals, keeping the interests of patients paramount until the new procedures are finalized.

The statement issued by the Ministry's Joint Spokesperson, Samir Kumar Adhikari, mentions that balanced management, which ensures the rights of health workers to rest while maintaining continuous hospital services, is a priority for the government.

The Ministry also stated that a management system will be prepared and implemented in phases to maintain a balance between the rights and interests of health workers and the right of citizens to receive treatment.

The Ministry noted that it is a crucial fact that providing sensitive and essential services like healthcare continuously, keeping the best interests of citizens in mind, is the primary responsibility of all.
