Armed Police Force Seizes Smuggled Goods Worth Over 2.1 Million in Baitadi

Baitadi. On Chaitra 29, the Armed Police Force seized smuggled grocery items worth approximately 2.109 million rupees from Haldu Binayak, Pancheshwar Rural Municipality-4.

The goods, which were being illegally transported from India into Nepal using a tractor (Sudurpaschim Province 01-002 Ta 5090) and a Bolero pickup truck (Sudurpaschim Province 01-001 Cha 2789), were intercepted by the Armed Police Force Nepal No. 51 Company, Baitadi.

The Armed Police stated that the seized goods, along with the two vehicles, have been handed over to the relevant authorities for further legal action.
