Sudurpaschim Provincial Assembly Forwards Bills to Committees for Review

Kanchanpur. The Sudurpaschim Provincial Assembly has forwarded the 'Bill to Make Provisions Regarding Mass Communication in Sudurpaschim Province' to the Legislation and Provincial Affairs Committee for clause-wise discussion.

In today's assembly meeting, Minister of Internal Affairs and Law Hira Sarki proposed sending the bill to the Legislation and Provincial Affairs Committee, which was unanimously approved.

Similarly, the 'Bill to Make Provisions Regarding the Management of Pesticides in Sudurpaschim Province' has been forwarded to the Social Development Committee for clause-wise discussion. This proposal, also presented by Minister Sarki, was unanimously approved by the assembly.

Furthermore, the assembly approved a proposal regarding the reshuffling of members across two thematic committees. Speaker Bhim Bahadur Bhandari presented the proposal for a decision, which was subsequently passed.

Under this reshuffle, Provincial Assembly member Prakash Bahadur Deuba has been moved from the Public Accounts Committee to the Social Development Committee, while Khushiram Dagaura has been moved from the Social Development Committee to the Public Accounts Committee.
