Shram Sanskriti Party Nominates Ruby Kumari Thakur for Deputy Speaker

Kathmandu. Shram Sanskriti Party lawmaker Aryan Rai stated that by embracing the path shown by the Gen-Z movement, the party has put forward Ruby Kumari Thakur of the Gen-Z group for the position of Deputy Speaker. While proposing Thakur for the post of Deputy Speaker in the House of Representatives, lawmaker Rai mentioned that they have brought forward a daughter of Madhes and a member of the Gen-Z group.

He stated that by nominating a daughter of Madhes as the candidate for Deputy Speaker, they have challenged the perception that the Shram Sanskriti Party is merely a party of the Rai community from the east and will end in the east.

He emphasized that the Shram Sanskriti Party moves forward by weaving caste, religion, class, and gender into a garland of unity. He also expressed his confidence that after becoming Deputy Speaker, Thakur will stand in favor of justice in Nepal.
