22 – year – old arrested in accusation of murdering a pilgrim

Charikot - Police have arrested a person in accusation of murdering a pilgrim to the famed Bhagawati temple of Kalinchowk.

Prabin Khadka, 22, of Bhirkot of Tamakoshi rural municipality – 1 was arrested in accusation of murdering Binod Dhanuke of Bhimeshwor municipality – 3 on November 26, 2011.

Khadka was arrested for involvement after interrogation of Binod's nephew Bikram BK, who was arrested for investigation. Khadka had fled after the arrest of Binod's nephew Bikram BK, according to police.

Khadka was arrested on Wednesday from Kathmandu and brought to Charikot, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rameshwor Karki of District Police Office, Dolakha.

He is also accused of issuing threats to Dolakha's businessmen and traders for money. Police are launching further investigation into the case.
