Bollywood Actress Zareen Khan's Mother Passes Away

Mumbai. Bollywood actress Zareen Khan's mother, Parveen Khan, passed away on Wednesday morning. Zareen's official team confirmed the passing of Parveen, who had been battling various health issues for a long time.

Her last rites were performed this morning at the Versova Muslim Cemetery in Andheri West, Mumbai. Zareen's mother had been unwell for the past few years. Due to serious health complications, she had been repeatedly admitted to the emergency room for treatment.

She was also hospitalized in October 2025, at which time Zareen had appealed to fans via social media to pray for her. Zareen had even taken a break from Bollywood some time ago to care for her mother.

This is a deeply painful time for actress Zareen. Just hours before her mother's passing, she lost her 15-year-old pet cat, 'Rambo'. The cat, born in 2011, passed away on April 7.

Zareen was very close to her mother. In past interviews, she described her mother as having a very simple nature, noting that while she did not know much about the glamour world, she found joy in the smallest of things.

For Zareen, who often said that seeing a smile on her mother's face was the greatest success of her life, this is an irreparable loss. During this tragic time, Bollywood colleagues and fans are expressing their condolences via social media.
