District Coordination Committee Khotang Honors 10 Individuals and 9 Organizations

Khotang. The District Coordination Committee (DCC) here has honored 10 individuals and nine organizations for their contributions to various sectors. DCC Khotang presented the honors today during its 10th district assembly, which coincided with the semi-annual review of programs conducted by federal and provincial government offices and all 10 local levels in the district.

Those honored include Dilip Khatri, immediate past president of the Federation of Nepali Journalists; Sanjay Kumar Rai, president of the Sports Foundation Nepal Khotang; Dhruva Bikram Rai, president of the District Football Association; Jaynarayan Rai, operator of the Creative Nepali Paper Industry; Senior AHW Rajkishore Sah; athlete Roshesh Shrestha; construction entrepreneurs Mahesh Regmi and Joseph Rijal; and lead farmers Sarala Rai and Jivnath Acharya.

The organizations honored include Diktel Rupakot Majhuwagadhi and Halesi Tuwachung Municipalities; Jantedhunga, Sakela, Rawabesi, and Kepilasgadhi Rural Municipalities; Diktel English Boarding School; the Area Welfare Office; and the Shubhadra-Madan Foundation. The chief guest of the program, Member of the House of Representatives and General Secretary of the Labor Culture Party, Aaren Rai, presented the honorees with shawls and certificates of appreciation.

DCC Khotang Chief San Bahadur Rai stated that the individuals and organizations were honored for their significant contributions to the overall development, service delivery, and social transformation of the district.
