Nepal Electricity Authority to Provide Employment to Families of Gen-Z Movement Martyrs

Kathmandu. The Board of Directors of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) decided in its meeting on Wednesday to provide employment to the remaining family members of the martyrs of the Gen-Z movement that took place on Bhadra 23 and 24.

In accordance with point number 11 of the Procedure for Providing Relief to the Injured of the Gen-Z Movement of Bhadra 23 and 24, 2082, and the provisions in the Nepal Gazette (Volume 75, Extra 32, Kartik 17, 2082), the decision was made to provide employment to 8 remaining family members of the martyrs.

The authority has already initiated the process of providing employment to 27 martyr families previously. The 8 additional families included in Wednesday's decision are Rojit Shrestha from Banasthali, Ambika Bishwakarma from Udayapur, Sumitra Mahat from Sindhupalchok, Shital Paudel, Mausam Kulung from Sankhuwasabha, Parbati Adhikari from Sarlahi, Hemanti Bista from Bajhang, and Manju Paudel from Lamjung.

Additionally, the Board of Directors has reviewed the performance evaluation of Nepal Electricity Authority Executive Director Hitendra Dev Shakya.
