Match Schedule Announced for Chandragadhi Women's Gold Cup

Jhapa. The match schedule for the upcoming Chandragadhi Women's Gold Cup, starting from Baisakh 5, has been made public.

The organizer, Chandragadhi Youth Club, released the schedule today. The winner of the tournament, which will run from Baisakh 5 to 14, 2083, will receive a cash prize of Rs 1.1 million along with a trophy. The organizers stated that this is the highest prize money in women's football in Nepal. The runner-up will receive Rs 500,000. The Player of the Match for each game will receive Rs 10,000.

According to the schedule, the opening match will feature RS Pokhara Football Club against Tribhuvan Army Football Club. Club President Rohit Subba stated that Thimphu City Football Club of Bhutan will compete against Church Boys United on Baisakh 6. 

Nepal Police Club will face the host, Chandragadhi Youth Club, on Baisakh 7. On Baisakh 8, APF Football Club will play against Padma Sports Club of Okhaldhunga. On Baisakh 9, the winner of the match between Police and the host will face India's Rani Laxmibai Sports Academy. On Baisakh 10, Sankata Football Club will play against the winner of the match between APF and Padma.

The first semi-final of the tournament will be held on Baisakh 12, and the second semi-final on Baisakh 13. He informed that the final match will take place on Baisakh 14. Additionally, the best player of the tournament will be awarded Rs 50,000. The best goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, forward, and coach will each receive Rs 25,000.

The tournament, which will be held at Mechi Stadium in Bhadrapur, is primarily sponsored by Om Sai Pathibhara Hospital of Bhadrapur.
