Makwanpur Police Launch 'Operation Drop' to Curb Hooliganism in Hetauda

Makwanpur. To control middlemen and hooliganism in Hetauda, the police have launched 'Operation Drop'. The District Police Office, Makwanpur, has taken 18 individuals into custody through this special campaign.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Pushkar Bogati, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Makwanpur, the campaign was initiated to bring individuals involved in harassing passengers, unprofessional conduct, hooliganism, and criminal activities under legal action. He stated that 18 people were apprehended from various locations in Hetauda on Chait 21 and 22, and are currently under investigation.

The detainees include 17 residents from various wards of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan City and one individual from Fatuwa Bijaypur Municipality, Rautahat. Those arrested include Nasib Bataula and Farok Ansari from Hetauda-1; Nawaraj Gurung, Badri Bahadur Tamang, Subham Thing, and Suraj Shrestha from Hetauda-11; and Sugam Lopchan and Rojesh Ojha from Hetauda-13.

Additionally, Sant Kumar Maharjan, Kamal Singh Blon, Ajay Syangtan, Arun Syangtan, and Sabin Thing from Hetauda-12; Arjun Blon Tamang and Dipesh Lama from Hetauda-19; Rahul Tamang from Hetauda-14; Nabin Gautam from Hetauda-6; and Rabi Timalsina from Fatuwa Bijaypur-10, Rautahat, have been arrested.
