Singer Shiva Pariyar Urges Caution Amidst Rape Allegations Against Comedian Sagar Lamsal 'Bale'

Kathmandu. As the debate intensifies on social media regarding the serious rape allegations against comedian Sagar Lamsal 'Bale', renowned singer Shiva Pariyar has weighed in. He has warned so-called social media influencers against spreading negativity that could influence the ongoing investigation.

Expressing confidence in the legal actions being taken against criminals since the formation of the new government, he emphasized the need to allow the relevant authorities to work impartially. Singer Pariyar expressed strong outrage against the trend of mocking the incident and spreading negativity by playing with words like 'miracle and rape' on social media.

He wrote, 'Perhaps it would be better not to give the impression on social media that the brain in your head has been pasted to your backside? Could you please take that much trouble?' Pariyar also clarified that he agrees with the views expressed by journalist Dil Nishani Magar on this matter.

He stated that he is confident that the Government of Nepal and its security agencies will conduct a truthful investigation, ensuring that the guilty are punished and the innocent are cleared, now that the victim has made the claim.

He has made a humble appeal to everyone to remain patient until the investigation is concluded and to refrain from activities that negatively influence the case.
