Public transport resumes in Surkhet following 10-point agreement

Surkhet. Public transport services in Surkhet, which had been halted since Friday morning, have resumed. The vehicles returned to operation following a 10-point agreement reached between the District Administration and transport entrepreneurs.

These are the 10-point agreements:

1. Random parking in public spaces is prohibited.

2. Passengers must purchase tickets only from designated counters.

3. Picking up passengers outside the bus park is prohibited.

4. Vehicles must depart for their designated destinations from the bus park.

5. Fares must be charged only according to the prescribed rates.

6. Issuance of tickets is mandatory.

7. Carrying passengers beyond the seating capacity is prohibited.

8. No modifications are allowed to the permitted seating arrangements.

9. Vehicles must be operated only for the purpose for which they are registered.

10. Public transport services that were previously halted must be brought into operation immediately.
