53,973 Students to Sit for SEE Exams in Sudurpashchim Province

Kanchanpur. A total of 53,973 students from Sudurpashchim are set to participate in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) starting Thursday.

Durga Datta Bista, Director General of the Education Development Directorate, Sudurpashchim, stated that all preparations for the examination have been completed. "Question papers and answer sheets have reached the respective examination centers and seating arrangements have been finalized," Director General Bista said. "Personnel have been mobilized to ensure the examination is conducted peacefully." According to him, 40,710 regular students, 1,778 from the technical stream, and 11,485 students appearing for grade improvement are participating in the exam from Sudurpashchim.

Kailali has the highest number of students with 18,278, while Bajura has the lowest with 2,426. There are 3,568 students in Darchula, 10,898 in Kanchanpur, 4,529 in Baitadi, 4,491 in Achham, 3,421 in Bajhang, 3,314 in Doti, and 3,048 in Dadeldhura.

According to Director General Bista, 221 examination centers have been designated across the province. 221 center superintendents, 373 assistant center superintendents, and 2,728 invigilators have been deployed for the exam. The directorate stated that 3,315 police personnel at a rate of 15 per center, 469 exam assistants, and 1,103 support staff have been mobilized.
