Two motorcyclists killed in collision on East-West Highway in Bara

Bara. Two motorcyclists died today after their vehicles collided on the East-West Highway in Nijgadh, Bara. The deceased have been identified as 22-year-old Vaibhav Dhungana from Lalbandi Municipality-7, Sarlahi, and 23-year-old Suresh Shrestha from Nijgadh Municipality-6, Dhiyaltole.

Dhungana, who was injured in the accident, was taken to LS Neuro Hospital in Gandak, while Shrestha was rushed to the Provincial Hospital in Kalaiya. Police Inspector Jeevan Lamichhane of the Area Police Office, Nijgadh, confirmed that both individuals were declared dead by doctors upon arrival at the hospitals.

The collision occurred at the western causeway of Nijgadh Municipality-9 between a motorcycle (Bagmati Province 02-042-P 9824) heading from Sarlahi to Kathmandu and another motorcycle (Bagmati Province 03-004-P 3661) coming from the opposite direction. Dhungana was operating the 9824 motorcycle, while Shrestha was riding the 3661 motorcycle.
