Home Minister Sudhan Gurung Meets Armed Police Chief to Discuss Border Security and Illegal Activities

Kathmandu. Home Minister Sudhan Gurung held discussions with Armed Police Force (APF) Inspector General Raju Aryal.

Visiting the APF Headquarters, Gurung discussed strengthening border patrolling to control illegal activities in the border areas.

Gurung instructed the APF Inspector General to intensify border patrols to control smuggling.

The Home Minister's secretariat stated that high-ranking APF officials participated in the discussion. One official participating in the discussion told Ratopati that other reform issues were also discussed.

Home Minister Gurung visited the APF headquarters in Halchowk on Tuesday for an inspection. Discussions were also held with senior APF officials regarding necessary preparations for disaster management.

APF officials stated that strategies, resource management, and coordination required for disaster management were discussed.
