Hetauda Cement Industry Resumes Clinker Production After Prolonged Shutdown

Hetauda. The Hetauda Cement Industry, which had been closed for a long time, has started producing clinker. Hare Ram Acharya, Senior Officer and Information Officer of the industry, informed that the Hetauda Cement Industry, which was closed since Bhadra 24, has started clinker production.

He stated that preparations are underway to send the produced cement to the market once clinker production and packaging are completed. Information Officer Acharya said, "We have enough raw materials for two weeks, clinker is being produced from that, and additional raw materials are being managed."

He mentioned that although the capacity is seven to eight hundred quintals daily during regular production, the current target is to produce up to 600 quintals of cement. The industry, established in Lamsure, Hetauda in B.S. 2033, started cement production from B.S. 2043.
