Chinese Foreign Minister Congratulates Nepal's New Foreign Minister

Kathmandu. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi extended heartfelt congratulations to Nepal's newly appointed Foreign Minister, Narayan Prakash (N.P.) Saud, on assuming office. In a congratulatory message sent on Friday, the Chinese Foreign Minister mentioned that Nepal and China are traditional friendly neighboring nations, stating that both countries have stood together through thick and thin since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1955.

Foreign Minister Wang also noted that bilateral relations have continuously developed based on the Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence. The Chinese Foreign Minister's message mentioned that China is ready to cooperate with Minister Saud to implement important agreements reached between both sides and to elevate the China-Nepal strategic cooperative partnership, based on long-term friendship, for development and prosperity.
