Truckers' Association Congratulates Newly Appointed Prime Minister Balendra Shah's Cabinet

Kathmandu. The Federation of Nepal Truck Transport Entrepreneurs has extended congratulations and best wishes to the 15-member cabinet formed under the leadership of newly appointed Prime Minister Balendra Shah.

In a statement signed by the Federation's General Secretary, Badri Prasad Chaulagai, best wishes were extended to Prime Minister Shah and all cabinet members for a successful tenure. The Federation formally extended its good wishes after the ministers were administered the oath of office and secrecy by Ramchandra Paudel at a special ceremony held at the President's Office.

The statement mentioned that the Federation expects the new government to play an effective role in the country's economic development, infrastructure expansion, and strengthening of the transport sector. Specifically, the Federation expressed confidence that the minister taking charge of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport would prioritize solving the long-standing problems in the transport sector.

Federation Chairman Rajendra Bikram Baniya also commented, expressing confidence that the transport sector would receive new energy with the formation of the new government.

He stated that the Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister is expected to focus on improving road infrastructure, managing transportation, resolving entrepreneurs' problems, and ensuring policy stability.
